MBC Band is a friendly 'learner' community band, open to all instrumentalists who can read basic sheet music.

Why Join MBC Band?

We play all genres of music from Handel to The Rolling Stones. I arrange parts to suit the abilities of each  player. As well as fun pieces we also use warm ups and scales to develop technique and improve our musicianship as a group.

Playing as part of a group is not only fun but helps to develop your intonation, sight reading, rhythm recognition and inner pulse better than most solo exercises. Think of it as a fortnightly bonus practise session!

We welcome members of all ages, from primary schoolers to pensioners. You are guaranteed to meet some like-minded, friendly people at band rehearsals!

Alternating Sundays during term time,

10:15 - 11:45am.

Termly fees:

over-18s: £26

under-18s: £20
